Altars has released a new single, the title track from their upcoming 2013 full length, Something More. The band has plunged head-long into their new project, and their convictions are plain: "We grow up in a society that promotes conformity. An American culture that is paid to keep the majority of its inhabitants ignorant."
Altars' mission statement has never been more clear than with the release of "Something More". The band states "There is Something More that lies beyond the blackened scope of our current vision. Beyond greed, unjustified power, ignorance, and all other evils, we believe that there is Something More. This is what we seek."

Altars will be in the studio through the end of January recording their sophomore Facedown release, out May 2013.
